KORONADAL CITY, May 23, 2020 – The Regional Development Council (RDC) XII enjoins all local government units (LGUs) down to barangay level, private sector, and regional line agencies of SOCCSKSARGEN to register on StaySafe.ph.

This is supported by a resolution passed and approved by the Council during the Briefing/ Demonstration on StaySafe.ph for RDC XII Members through a video-teleconference on May 22, 2020, 2:00PM.

StaySafe.ph is a pandemic mitigation platform developed by Multisys Technologies Corporation. At present, the Department of Information and Communications Technology already owns and controls the system. The registration to this platform is free of charge and no personal information is needed, except for mobile number, age and gender.

The platform  features health and conditioning reporting system; contact tracing system; health and case management and mapping system; social distancing notifications; response system; data entry and monitoring; SMS blaster for IATF, NTF-COVID-19, DOH and DILG; Track and Trace alarm and Notifications; centralized admin access and analytics; COVID-19 worldwide updates, and; health tips and reminders.

LGUs and other government agencies in the region can have access to the backend system of the website for free, says Chief Executive Officer and Founder David L. Almirol, Jr..

The decision of the Council supports the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Disease Resolution No. 27 series of 2020 signed on April 22, 2020 that adopted StaySafe.ph, as official social-distancing, health-condition-reporting, and contact-tracing system that will assist the government in expediting response to COVID-19,

The RDC XII resolution also supports DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2020-018 addressed to all Local Chief Executives and Sangunian Members of Provinces, Cities, and Municipalities to use StaySafe.ph to  manage the COVID-19 situation in the region. (Apollo Y. Manlawe, NEDA XII-DRD)
